NOTE: Effective 07/01/04 on all construction projects there will be a non-refundable fee charged for plans and specifications in the amount of $26 for projects estimated to cost up to $100,000 and $52 for projects estimated to cost beyond that amount. Cash, or business, cashier's, or personal check, or credit cards will be accepted as payment (currently only Visa and MasterCard are accepted). 1.IFB127106-Municipal Service Center Resurfacing Project The work to be performed, in general, consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, material, and transportation required to perform the Municipal Service Center (MSC) Resurfacing Project. The work under this contract includes, but not limited to, traffic control; site preparation; asphalt concrete milling; placing asphalt concrete overlay; temporary striping; adjusting manholes and utility boxes to grade in five (5) segments and coordination of other work and MSC operations, including all incidental and related work as required by the General Requirements, Drawings, and Specifications in the IFB. RFP127237 Architectural Consulting Services for the Single Family Individual Review Program RFP127237 - The City of Palo Alto is seeking a consulting architect to advise City planning staff during review of two-story single-family residences. The City of Palo Alto maintains a regulatory program for proposed two-story homes and second story additions, and receives 100-130 applications per year. City Planners review the plans for zoning compliance, and the consulting architect reviews them for consistency with the Palo Alto Single-Family Individual Review Guidelines. RFP128166 Provision of Business Tax Classification and Tax Rate Structure Program RFP128166 - The City of Palo Alto is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced firms to develop for adoption a business tax classification and tax rate structure program. The project objective is to establish an appropriate tax rate structure and to identify a tax rate for each business tax classification. The City’s proposes to implement a business tax program for revenue raising purposes. The tax will apply to businesses located in Palo Alto, outside contractors conducting business in Palo Alto, residential rental properties and home based businesses. The recommended tax structure and rate shall give consideration to regression and equity. RFQ 127714-Water Meter Audit, test,Repair,Calibrate The City of Palo Alto is seeking quotes from qualified firms to audit, test, repair, and calibrate water meters. The Contractor shall: inspect/audit, test, repair, and/or calibrate, up to 95 (inspect/audit = 64 meters; test/repair/calibrate = 31 meters water meters). The water meters included in the scope of this project are installed in water pits and/or vaults at various locations throughout the City. The required services are described in the Scope.
