Historic Preservation

The Historic Resources Board (HRB) was created by the City Council to assist in the protection and enhancement of Palo Alto's historic structures, properties and districts.

The Board is composed of seven members appointed by the City Council, at least three of whom are achitects, landscape architects, building designers or other design professionals and at least one member shall possess academic education or practical experience in history or a related field.

Regular meetings are at 8:00 a.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of every month and are cablecast live on Government Channel 26.
