Bringing the community together
to create solutions.

The City of Palo Alto and community groups are creating the Community Environmental Action Partnership (CEAP) in accordance with the recommendations made by the Green Ribbon Task Force and the Climate Protection Plan. The CEAP's mission is to bring the various segments of the community together to share knowledge, build mutual understanding, leverage resources, and both create and implement innovative environmental solutions.

Joining the CEAP is a chance to get involved, create positive change, and have a voice in the direction taken by your community.

The climate protection challenges facing Palo Alto (and the planet) are large, complex, and life-changing. In many cases the solutions to these challenges will alter the way we live our daily lives and conduct our business practices. The solutions must be innovative and collaborative, recognizing the different needs and constraints of the various segments of our community. Through broad community participation, we can create 'livable, and 'doable' solutions--the more people who contribute, the more effective the solutions.

Community Environmental Action Partnership (CEAP) Meeting details:

  • Wednesday, September 10, 4-6 p.m.
  • Y2E2 Building
  • 473 Via Ortega
  • Stanford University
