Redevelopment in Palo Alto: On August 6, 2001, the City Council of the City of Palo Alto adopted an ordinance declaring the need for a redevelopment agency to function in the City of Palo Alto and declaring the City Council to be the city's Redevelopment Agency. In September 2001, the Edgewood Redevelopment Project Area was designated as a Survey Area and procedures to adopt a redevelopment plan were initiated.
The proposed revitalization of the Edgewood Redevelopment Project Area is in conformance with the City of Palo Alto's Comprehensive Plan policies.
